Summer Day Camp Counselor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and lead camp activities (including in the park, inside the community center, and at the pool)
• Monitor for safety and enforce all COVID-19 health guidelines
• Work as a team to create a fun and safe environment for your campers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Age 16 or older
• Experience working with school age children preferred
• CPR certification is required (will be offered at no cost if hired)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Camp takes place primarily outdoors in Kirkwood Park, with occasional indoor activities.

Employment dates: June 7, 2021 through Aug 6, 2021 (Monday through Friday)

Camp counselors work approximately 32 hours per week.

Training will be held the week of June 1-4 (exact dates and times TBD). SALARY: $11.25/hour
