Skate Lesson Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Skate Lesson Coordinator to manage and oversee our skate lesson program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for skating, excellent organizational skills, and a strong ability to engage with skaters of all ages. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating skate lessons while ensuring a high standard of safety and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:

   • Develop, schedule, and coordinate skate lesson programs.
   • Ensure lesson plans align with safety standards and organizational goals.
   • Manage the allocation of resources, including equipment and facilities.

2. Participant Engagement:

   • Promote the skate lesson programs through various channels, including social media, community events, and partnerships.
   • Assist with participant registration, including handling inquiries and processing payments.
   • Address participant concerns and feedback to improve program quality.

3. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed during lessons.
   • Maintain accurate records of participant health and safety information.
   • Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and facilities.

4. Administrative Duties:

   • Maintain up-to-date records of lesson schedules, participant information, and instructor performance.
   • Prepare reports on program success and areas for improvement.

5. Event Coordination:

   • Organize and execute special events, such as skate competitions, demonstrations, or workshops.
   • Collaborate with other departments or external organizations for events and promotions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in program coordination or a similar role, preferably in sports or recreation.
• Strong knowledge of skateboarding, roller skating, or similar activities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of participants and staff.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in skate instruction or a related field is advantageous.
