Procurement Clerk
Responsibilities:
Assist Director and Assistant Director with day-to-day operations of Procurement Department; provide assistance with document retention, filing, requesting quotes, maintaining bidder list, tracking inventory, issuing stock, receiving supplies, and handling special projects; will help other department staff with typing, answering telephones, warehouse count, and storing warehouse supplies; other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to follow oral instructions and read written instructions
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a work environment subject to interruptions
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access
- Able to perform mathematic computations accurately and quickly
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must have the ability to perform physical labor lifting up to 50 pounds
- Hiring contingent upon passing drug screen
