Procurement Clerk

Responsibilities:

Assist Director and Assistant Director with day-to-day operations of Procurement Department; provide assistance with document retention, filing, requesting quotes, maintaining bidder list, tracking inventory, issuing stock, receiving supplies, and handling special projects; will help other department staff with typing, answering telephones, warehouse count, and storing warehouse supplies; other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to follow oral instructions and read written instructions
• Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a work environment subject to interruptions
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access
• Able to perform mathematic computations accurately and quickly
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must have the ability to perform physical labor lifting up to 50 pounds
• Hiring contingent upon passing drug screen
