Pool Cashier, Part-Time

What you will be doing:

• Staff the Aquatic Center front desk.
• Collect money for daily admission for the pools and verifies resident/non-resident passes.
• Prepare reports and deposits at the end of each shift.
• Provide information to the public related to pool and Kirkwood Parks and Recreation.
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk and surrounding areas
• Answer phones and provides information to users of the pools.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Have excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience with computers.
• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is primarily done in an outdoor pool setting. Primarily scheduled Monday-Sunday 8:30 a.m. 8:00 p.m. The Aquatic Center is open to the public Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work a minimum of 5 days week including Holidays and weekends. Expected to work approximately 20-25 hours per week; varying work schedule that includes holidays and weekends. Potential start date is May 15, 2023

STARTING SALARY: $11.25 per hour. No benefits. Position is open until filled.
