Performing Arts Center Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting processes and business operating functions of the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center (KPAC).
• Manages reservations and contracts for users of performing arts center.
• Supervise some part time and seasonal employees.

Requirements:

• Two or more years of office management experience, preferably in a performance arts environment. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Two or Four-year college degree in business administration, parks and recreation, or related field.
• In depth knowledge of equipment and procedures involved in operating a theater facility.
• Knowledge of organization and resources within the performing arts community.
• Proactive in supervisory methods and techniques.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct staff.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with city staff, community groups, facility users, city officials and the general public.
• Ability to master various software programs including common word processing and spreadsheets and recreation registration and reservations packages.
• Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Salary: $56,376 - $62,024 per year DOQ with great benefits package.
