Facilities Custodian

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the city buildings and properties are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Has strength and dexterity to operate equipment and tools.
2. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances.
3. Must have good hand/eye coordination.
4. Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl as needed to adequately perform cleaning and maintenance of facilities.

LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION:

Valid Driver's License.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is primarily done in an indoor facility setting; however responsibilities will require work in the outdoors and other environments. Some exposure to inclement weather (dust, ice, snow, heat and rain) and noise.
