What you will be doing:

Our Executive Director is an advocate for the Downtown Kirkwood Special Business District who seeks to promote the SBD to attract shoppers and businesses, and to coordinate with the City of Kirkwood to create a vibrant, thriving downtown.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• • Is an enthusiastic self-starter who has demonstrable experience
    • Marketing and Communication skills to both promote the district and communicate with its membership
    • Working with city governments to execute improvements, maintenance, assistance, and etc., including attending City Council meetings and various committees
    • Event planning - the SBD has +/- 12 special events annually, some organized entirely by SBD, others in coordination with the City or other Organizations
    • Managing a Farmer's Market
  • Has excellent administrative skills
  • Has extensive budgetary skills, both in creating annual budgets and assisting / advising s taxing district partners.
