Camp Section Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee an age specific section of camp (3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, Teen Camp, etc.)

Mai

Plan, participate and assist with camp activities (including in the park, inside the Community Center, and at the pool)

Work with other Counselors to create a positive, fun, and safe enviorment for all campers

Maintain good communication with directors and other counselors

Follow all regulations and saftey guidlines outlined at the start of camp

REQUIREMENTS:

Age 18 or older

Experience working with school age children

Previous Summer Camp experience

CPR certification is required (will be offered at no cost if hired)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Camp takes place primarily outdoors in Kirkwood Park, with occasional indoor activities.

Employment dates: June 3rd, 2024 through Aug 2nd, 2024 (Monday through Friday)

Training will be held the week of May 28th-31st (exact dates and times TBD). SALARY: $17.25/hour
